Creative Spark are on the lookout for a highly motivated and driven Senior Account Manager who wants to grow current clients from a strategic and commercial perspective as well as getting their hands dirty with the day-to-day handling of a variety of client projects. You will need
to be highly organised with excellent communication skills in order to juggle the expectations of the agency directors as well as the clients.


Main duties of the post:

  • The day-to-day management of clients’ marketing, brand, digital and advertising campaigns
  • Taking client briefs, creating budgets and project plans and delivering those projects to completion on time and on budget – high levels of commercial awareness
  • Pro-active leadership that encourages teams to perform to the best of their ability
  • Regular communication and liaison with clients, at a senior level (take the lead on your projects with your assigned clients)
  • Writing great briefs and organising client feedback in line with the agency traffic processGenerating accurate reports and status
  • notifications on a regular basis
  • Pitching fresh and innovative ideas to clients along with the creative team
  • Using your knowledge and skills to push clients, the team and the agency in the most productive direction
  • Being a client advocate and a guardian of their brand
  • Consistent and effective use of the Spark project management and admin systems
  • Working within the Spark process but be flexible in order to retain accounts and deliver projects profitably

Knowledge and Experience required:

  • A solid background in design, advertising and / or marketing handing multiple clients
  • Understands and can provide evidence / experience of solution selling and providing key account management to accounts that are large, corporate or complex in nature.
  • Experience in professional client relationship management
  • Understands the importance and relevance of sales reporting, forecasting and pipeline management
  • Works closely with client services, creative, technical and strategy teams to drive and deliver projects efficiently
  • Able to critically assess the performance of an account and can proactively take action to address areas of underperformance
  • Able to communicate complex information and motivate people via face to face meetings, telephone, written media
  • Is capable of being accountable for managing their own time and personal workflow in order to keep to commitments
  • Confident working with a cross discipline team preparing proposals, presenting to mid to senior level clients, negotiating project fees

Hours: Mon – Thurs 9am – 5.45pm, Friday 9am – 4.30pm (flexible hours required)
