Game on – World Cup Sweepstake

If you didn’t already know, the FIFA World Cup 2014 kicks off tonight!  Yesterday saw the World Cup sweepstake draw at Spark Towers.

Our draw wasn’t quite as formal as the official one in Brazil, but it was just as nerve racking for our Spark football fans as they waited to find out which team they will cheer on over the next four weeks.

The Spark’s will be backing their teams the whole way for the World Cup!  The flags are waving at all of the desks and we are expecting some creative ideas to support the teams over the coming weeks.

Hannah was the lucky one drawing out the tournament favourites Brazil. Second and third favourites were James with Argentina and Mike with Spain.  Charlotte will be getting behind the three lions after drawing England whilst unlucky Spark’s Rob and Nina will be cheering on Australia and Costa Rica at odds of 2500/1.

However, as the old cliché goes, it’s not over until the fat lady sings and the Sparks will be watching the action in Brazil with a keen eye.  Only time will tell as we wait for all of the drama to unfold to see who will be crowned the champion of Spark Towers.
