GMPA Website

We have won the brief from Greater Manchester Police Authority (GMPA) to design a microsite that houses its schools information DVDs.

The microsite although aimed at teachers, will be designed with a fresh and interesting style that will appeal as much to students as it does to the professionals. It will provide a number of resources including videos and PDF lesson plans that can be used to help educate 11-16 year olds on the role of the police within society. The site will allow teachers to watch free trailers before registering for free, to gain access to the downloadable activities. The new site will enable the GMPA to monitor downloads and viewings of the videos, as well as gather feedback from the teachers on the effectiveness of the material.

The success of the partnership between Creative Spark and the GMPA has led to us being awarded a second brief to redesign the organisations website.

Daniel Foster, Engagement Officer for GMPA, stated, “Creative Spark came to us with a lovely design and understood the need to be both fresh and appealing but also completely functional. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed the collaborative process of working with the team and are very happy with the result.”

We’re pleased that GMPA is so happy with our work that it’s asked us to redesign its main website as well. Obviously the team worked hard on matching the design elements with the necessary functionality such as monitoring downloads, which is an essential reporting tool for the GMPA internally. Overall the website’s design is one that’s appealing and practical, which is exactly what the GMPA wanted

The site is set to go live before the start of the new school year in September.
