We’ve got ‘Beer Day Britain’ in the can…
Today is Beer Day Britain, so what better time to reveal our new can design for one of our favourite clients, the Manchester craft beer company Seven Bro7hers Brewery,
The can design itself reflects the bottle label that won us ‘SIBA Best Brand Design’ last year, and it comes at an interesting time for the Seven Bro7hers family business. Not only are they forging ahead with an expansion a fundraising campaign, they are opening their first bar in Ancoats, which is a stone’s throw from our office. We are very excited.
The can design also marks the start of a period of further collaboration between ourselves and the brewery. We’ve had a long relationship with the brand, having created the brand’s iconic “block-style” creative using handmade letterpress to reflect the heritage in beer production. TWe also worked to incorporate a bright colour palette and stand-out descriptions of the beer on the packaging designs, all of which was designed to sit in-line with the brewery’s well-known proposition: Clear With Beer.
Our very own Deputy Creative Director, James O’Connell, went on record saying: “Working with the Bro7hers has been a fantastic experience from the start. We’ve worked side by side with them, continuing to develop their identity and product range, and with this new can design they can take their brand to the next level. We’re excited to see our branding designs in more cafes, bars and in (the brewery’s latest retail stockist) Co-op, and are thrilled with the way Seven Bro7thers’ are expanding. We’ll be having a few of their beers tonight to celebrate!”
Seven Bro7hers Brewery Co-founder, Keith McAvoy, also had something to add: “We are delighted with the new can design Creative Spark made for us. Our brand is growing from strength to strength and is allowing us to expand significantly. We can’t wait to see our brand in more supermarkets.”
Too right Keith. See you at the bar. Your round.
