Netflix and Kill

That time of year we’ve all been waiting for is finally upon us! The Little Print Shop of Horrors 2017 is in motion but this year is going to be the best yet. For those of you that haven’t heard of our Halloween campaign, artists both internally and externally to Spark donate their time and skills to creating beautiful, horror-filled prints based on a relevant theme. The prints are then sold and all proceeds go to charity. Over the past 7 years, we’ve managed to raise £10k for Forever Manchester, and this year we are hoping to do the same for Huntingtons’ Disease Association.

This year’s theme has taken a step away from the usual horror film genre and we’ve branched into the boxset world, giving birth to “Netflix and Kill”. We’ve had contributions from artists such as Hammo, Matt Ferres, Mr Peter, Simon Henshaw and Barney Ibbotson (to name but a few).

We will be hosting a launch event at Seven Brothers bar in Ancoats on Wednesday 25th October from 6pm – 8pm. David Goodwin, Champion of Art Battle Manchester, will be live painting at the event, creating an eerie masterpiece, which we are seriously excited for! Jack Tomson, Funkademia, will be DJ-ing so make sure you bring your dancing shoes.

If you’re interested in dropping by to check out the prints then please contact hello@littleprintshopofhorrors.com and we can pop your name on the guestlist.

Fred Aldous has also kindly offered their window to showcase the prints throughout the week commencing 23rd October. Be sure to have a look when you’re passing through Stevenson Square.

We’ve had a bunch of amazing companies and friends offer their time and services to help us this year. Special thanks go to : We Are Indigo, We are Good Thinking, Paragon Pictures and Nathan Chandler; thanks so much for your support.

We’re super excited for the launch party and really hope we can raise awareness as well as funds for such a worthy cause.

Some of our fave classics will be on sale this week. Netflix and Kill prints on sale from Tuesday 24th October.

See you on Wednesday!
