Manchester United Soccer Schools (MUSS) uses the coaching and training taught throughout the football club to promote and educate young people from 6-18yrs all around the world.

Taking the lead

The football school recently launched a global campaign called ‘Take the Lead’ to coincide with the launch of their new website. They wanted to encourage their young fan base to interact digitally with them and so needed a campaign that would be exciting and accessible in today’s modern world.

With this in mind, we designed the concept for the campaign and the web work, incorporating a video format that works across print, TV and digital channels.


Money can't buy experiences

The campaign’s aim is to find a ‘Captain’ who will act as MUSS ambassador and who will then enjoy a package of money-can’t-buy experiences with one of the world’s biggest brands.

Those who enter have to produce a 60 second video explaining what it takes to be a Man Utd captain. They upload their video to a Facebook app, which then goes into a public vote. Former Manchester United captains, Bryan Robson and Gary Neville, will then pick the ultimate winner from the shortlisted candidates!
