The Little Print Shop of Horrors returns for its 13th Year: “If Words Could Kill”

LPSOH Blog

Halloween is creeping closer, and with it comes the spine-tingling return of the Little Print Shop of Horrors. Now celebrating its 13th year, our annual charity project is back, bringing together our wickedly talented illustrators who’ve pledged their time and twisted imaginations to create a collection of horror-inspired posters.

100% of the proceeds will go to Humans MCR, a charity fighting food poverty across Greater Manchester. That means every poster you buy is helping to provide respect, health, dignity, and hope to local communities in need.

A twisted brief

This year’s theme is “If Words Could Kill.” Each artist was challenged to take an iconic or lesser-known quote from horror films or TV shows and reimagine it in their own terrifying style. Each poster promises to transform a memorable horror line into a piece of art, blurring the lines between typography and graphic design.

The result? An eclectic and gripping collection of posters that any film buff, wordsmith, casual art lover or dedicated horror would love to hang on their wall.

Previous years themes include Classic Horror, Twisted Disney, Classic Hitchcock, 666, and Netflix & Kill.

Meet the artists

Of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible illustrators and designers who have lent their creativity and passion to the project. This year’s lineup features some really exciting talents:

Our charity event is back!

To celebrate 13 years of Little Print Shop of Horrors, we’re throwing an extra special Halloween pre-party on Thursday, 24th October. This is your chance to get up close and personal with the artwork and immerse yourself in the incredible creative community that Manchester has to offer.

The event will take place at Seven Brothers Beerhouse (Ancoats), and it’s free to attend, but tickets are limited. Get in touch on email or socials for more info on where to grab your free ticket.

A huge thanks to our sponsors

Over the years, Little Print Shop of Horrors has raised over £20,000 for charity, and this year we’re aiming to raise as much as possible to support Humans MCR. With rising energy bills and winter approaching, we know families are going to feel the financial struggles more than ever. It’s predicted to be a very tough year for those that need it most, we really hope to help make a difference.

We couldn’t do this without the generosity of our incredible sponsors:

Our Lead Sponsor, Galloways Print – who have kindly sponsored all of the print costs for this year’s initiative.

And not forgetting our other brilliant sponsors:

Their support ensures that every penny from poster sales goes directly to fighting food poverty in Manchester.

The Little Print Shop of Horrors will run from 9th to 31st October, so don’t miss your chance to grab one of these limited-edition prints. Follow us on Instagram and LinkedIn for all the latest updates, sneak peeks, and behind-the-scenes content.
